Elimination of "Little Sisters"
Among fraternities, Delta Sigma Phi has been an industry leader in recognizing the importance of gender equality. Since 1984, the Fraternity has banned affiliation with "little sister" organizations, groups of women that associated themselves with fraternities. Instead, the Fraternity supports women's organizations, including the 26 national and international sororities of the National Panhellenic Conference.
