D. Lee Dueringer, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign ‘60, made a significant impact as a leader of Delta Sigma Phi during the 1970s and 1980s. Dueringer is a member of Alpha Alpha Chapter at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
In his professional life, Dueringer worked for Eli Lilly Co. and the University of Arizona as Director of Development. Dueringer has also been dedicated to Rotary International, serving in a variety of capacities for the Southwest, including as president of the Rotary Sunrise Club of Scottsdale, Arizona.
Dueringer has supported Delta Sigma Phi throughout his life. He served as National President from 1975 until 1979. He was president of the Delta Sigma Phi Foundation from 1982 until 1987. Dueringer has earned a number of awards from Delta Sigma Phi, including the Mr. Delta Sig and the Outstanding Brother Awards.
